I'm for medications that people need to live...

Heart, Blood Pressure, Cancer Patients, For pain, before the possibility of addiction to take hold, etc...

Mind altering drugs without a brain scan to see if there is a problem, to me that would be a problem when they give me a Prescription based on feelings...

Putting other organs at risk and death...

I am not one for being controlled by chemically induced medications that would limit my abilities...

Your situation is very common...

I do agree with not just stopping medications without seeing a Doctor first, because stopping suddenly depending on length of time the body has been fed this and the type of medications itself can be extremely dangerous...

Hello Tina...

The last time I went to the Doctor she asked me my age and when I told her she wrote me a Prescription for anti anxiety pills...

I was totally shocked...

I asked her if they were just in case the news hits me hard or are they are for my next Birthday?

She said to help you with menopause...

I said is it going to make me anxious?

I was actually going to celebrate me...

Is it for when the parties over?

I said people don't discuss Estrogen anymore?

She said take them and see how they make you feel...

Then a song came into my head...

Be kind to your web footed friends for the Duck could be somebody's Mother...

Quack Quack!

She was scary!

I never went back...

Personal choice...

One is prescription sometimes paid for by the State and some use them to supplement their income...

Some get other benefits because of it thanks to the Tax Payers that the Government takes and passes it on...

Other, is seek and purchase out of pocket...

The State isn't involved other than arrests...

I'm sorry you feel like your drowning...

Your situation is unique just like you are as a person...

Though it can still effect you, it isn't the initial diagnosis...

There's more medications with serious side effects than not...

I'm glad that you have been able to cut back, a lot of people end up getting increases due to the side effects that have caused issues which also requires medications...

You require medication because you have serious injury...

​​​​​Medical illnesses and such should be better evaluated before just trying to shove pills at people...

Hello Sis Cherie...

I'm allergic to Codeine so is my Daughter...

I got 3 Prescriptions for an injury all had Codeine under a different name...

They also gave it to me in the Hospital before they sent me on my merry way...

It was well documented and with the Pharmacy too...

I was so sick and after another trip to the Hospital due to my reaction they have me another prescription with Codeine in it...

The Pharmacist finally called the Doctor after I said before you fill it does it have Codeine in it?

Yes it does...

Then I heard him on the phone with the Doctor and he said seriously, this Woman has been here off and on all day and back to the Hospital all in the same day...

She was just released from surgery this morning...

She thinks everyone is trying to kill her, I can't convince her we're not and now you're giving her Codeine again...

He said here you go after another 40 minutes of waiting...

I said are you sure?

I couldn't take them anyway and ever since then anything other than for a headache my stomach refuses it all...

That's not good if I need something to help me live...

I don't even know if I couldn't communicate if I wore an allergy bracelet if they would read it or even care...

Scary indeed!

They don't individualize they categorize...

It's not natural, it's man made, it's not ever going to be perfect...

People care more about money than the well being...

They don't care if someone needs an amputation they don't need the medicine and they have all their parts and always a pleasant trip to the Bank...

You would think they would be concerned about people dying because dead doesn't fill prescriptions...

Someone else will get the prescription...

Depressed people are good people for certain agenda and so on...

Healthy people don't do it for them...
