Reflection Of Me

This old dog has a frown on his face 
he has been for so long
he does not have a place to call home 

This old dog, no one loves him
slim from getting sick
all these people and no seems to know him

This old dog, no peaceful night to lie down and sleep
his bones are getting weak
can’t even be happy enough to take a leap

This old dog has no food to eat
no bones, can’t even get a treat
and everyone uses him like an athlete 

I am like this old dog, I really am
I finally accepted this is who I am
lonely and sad, I just don’t give a DAMN!
