Reflections

Reflections

Standing in front of the mirror
And what do I see
Endless versions
Staring back at me

No two people
View you the same
Each interaction
Gives you a new name

As you gaze upon yourself
Have you even realized
How others vision you
I bet you’d be surprised

With every person meet
Or just paths crossed
A timeless image of you is stored
And can never be lost

A simple gesture
Or the words said
Remains buried
Deep within the other’s head

Countless versions of you
Walking hand in hand
With the people you pass
All across this land...

Wow, such a great poem! It has really struck a chord within my mind. Unfortunately my computer is glitching so I can not give 5 stars but 10+ stars to you.

Such a fine observation PATRICK!!......and VERY well poetically conveyed......it is in the simplicity of words where the masses are met......and the writer becomes the recognized conduit.....be careful my friend.....you never know who's listening or reading......Words are SO powerful!!.........and you definitely have a knack for communicating across lines......Peace brother........T xo  : )
