Poem -

regrets of my youth

If a soothsayer had said I will write your elegy

I would have called him a fool

but here you lay covered, buried

gone forever far beyond earth

beyond the grave to a land unknown

our days though short were lovely

our dreams, hopes and fears today are dissolved

yonder I hear your soft laughter evaporate beyond the blue skies

oooh that they will condense to fall

the irony of love

and soothe this burning heart of mine

so with these roses I part with you

to face the world alone

seems everybody  has an experience with love

its a pain ours turned out this way

to fall again in love i know not

at least you could have left a goodbye

to soothe my pain
