Poem -

REJECTION IS AN ARROW

REJECTION IS AN ARROW

People may feel good when they reject you...

It may give them a sense of power or can do attitude...

When we take a moment and remember those who care about us and love us and we learn to redirect the pain...

May we get to the point where if we're accepted at every door it actually could hold us back from something so much better...

Rejection is an arrow which always points to redirection...

To those who have rejected me, I say A GREAT BIG THANK YOU because, have you had opened the door I wouldn't have found my better...

Hugs...

Sparrow,
Great write. You're so wisdom-y, and smart, and wonderful. I don't know how anyone could reject you, but it's awesome that you just learn from things.
Great to see you writing again.
Your friend,

Matthew.

A Lonely Journey

You're welcom, little Sparrow. I miss you! Just like I missed the 'e' in welcome, but I decided to leave it to make a point. There's a saying:
'Missing someone is like missing an 'e' in welcome, it leaves the word a little lonelier, and makes you look like an idiot." - Aristophones.
And, I'm both, missing you, lonelier without you, and an idiot...HEY!! lol.

Hope you're well, my fiend! Oh God, not another saying I have to come up with!
"Missing someone is like missing an 'r' in friend, it makes a friend an evil person(a fiend), and it makes you(me) look mean, and stupid." - Henry David Thoreau.   (And I'm both...missing you, evil, and stupid...DAMN!! This isn't working out so well!!). But I do miss you.

Matthew.
