I need relief from this pain that consumes me

Mind body and soul

Devastating sadness seeping deep into my bones

My body writhes in agony

My mind screams out for peace

My soul engulfed in darkness

Praying for release

I have to let it go

I need to be free

I close my eyes

Start to bleed

The hurt pours out of me

The pain begins to ease

Memories start to fade

A feeling of serenity

A comfortable place

The heavy clouds around me are lifting

Light breaks through

I feel warmth in my heart

Voices in the distance softly singing

Guiding me away from the dark
