Remember The Ghost

Remember The Ghost
by Poet Ron
She wore a red cap,
Thinkin 'bout her again,
That's just another bloody trap!
Like a fool, I let the ghost walk through me everyday,
The ghost steals my food,
The ghost steals my bed,
The ghost is trapped in my head!
This ghost plays with my heart likes it's a toy,
She drops the red cap on the floor,
She vanishes out my door!
Remember the ghost,
She haunts me day and night!

A curious little write Ron, not sure about the meaning but I did like it!! Don't know fairy tale "The Magic Cap" which would probably shed some light!! Poetry isn't always about understanding every word, just enjoying what is written!! :)
Hi Rachel,
Thank you for reading and liking my poem. :)
Maybe this will help to understand.
The poem is about a girl who lives with a man and all she does is ignores him and eats his food.
Like an invisible goblin or ghost.
As soon as she walks out the door she becomes visible to the rest of the world.
Leaving the man lonely.
Reading the second tale "The Magic Cap." at this link may help you to understand.
The goblins would become invisible and steal food

Thanks Ron, for explaining, it does put a different perspective on it again!!! Much enjoyed and I will read the link!! Thanks :)
Rachel
On another level it could also mean unrequited Love.
