Remember When?
Remember when
Life was so simple?
I yearn to be a child again,
No real responsibilities,
Just worry about
Playtime with friends
And watching my favorite shows.
Remember when
I just wanted to grow up?
I rebelled against everyone,
I kept saying
"I can't wait to be 18, so I can...",
How stupid of me
To want this so badly.
Remember when
The times I was consumed with depression and anxiety?
I thought I would never make it,
I concord it for the time,
But it is back once again,
And I'm not sure if I can win again.
All I can do
Is sit here
And remember.

the bad thing about remembrance is hindsight isn't always twenty-twenty. others should look for a lesson from the past what you can take from it since you can't go back in time. at least not yet anyways. well penned. you are very good with imagery
