Reminiscing

I came across a box today;
it was neatly packed away.
Looking at this box I knew it was filled with emotions;
something within me doesn't want me to open it.
But curiosity got the best of me.

A sweet aroma greeted me;
it was a smell I longed for.
It was the scent of a long lost love;
a love that was over before it even began.
I instantly started to reminisce.

While reminising I come across some letters;
three and four pages long.
On these pases were words that every women loves to hear;
they told a story about an undying love.
Little did I know it would be another fairytale.

Within the word there were some markings;
they were drawings of roses and hearts.
They seem to have been dancing to a song;
but there seem to be no beat.
Little did I know that they would be broken.

I'm reminising abt a forgotten love;
one that I thought one day would conquer the world.
This love ended before the hearts even meet;
this fairytale didn't have a happy ending.
I'm reminising about an unknown love;
A love that I long to feel.
This is the love I'd die for!
