Repercussions

Repercussions

Lapse gently into twilight
where starry~eyed
wonder sparkles ebony
white,
and drifting winds deepen breaths
warming chilled seas
as Mourning Doves rest
peacefully recalling
songs sung sweetly
in olden trees.
Listen,
while melodies reverberate
through valleys wide
to mountains tall
when soft hushes bring
reparation for a new born day.
