Poem -
Resolute
Turning the tide of this merciless war
Will take courage like never before
Evil has gained numbers through its lies
Civilized behaviour it blatantly defies
Massacring innocents part of its plan
Millions flee in fear to wherever they can
Soldiers of god on the battlefield excel
To keep at bay the demons from hell
This conflict has seen such barbarity
Where at stake is the future of humanity
Evil will pay for atrocities it has committed
The right to negotiate terms it has forfeited !
Despite seeing victory will come at great cost
Resolute determination to triumph will not be lost.

Sir Richard!!...........as in most wars or battles...........the good vs. evil manifests most greatly in the soldiers themselves............and like Joe Haldeman in his book "The Forever War" so eloquently stated.........that it is often the case in the midst of war ~the atrocities witnessed & committed by the soldiers often change their hearts from good to evil and vice-versa...........I think "Resolute" is the perfect choice for your title...........well done my friend............as usual..............Love and Rockets!!.............T xo
