Resolving Door

Be it resolved

in the year soon to be,

we’re going to treat each other

a little bit more civilly  

and let's not be

so hard on ourselves either

A little self slack cutting
would be nice

We’re going to rediscover our smiles 

Worry a little less

Love a lot more

Appreciate this gift called life

Stop sweating the small stuff

Isn’t it really sort of silly

We have resolve to do these things 

That we should have been doing all along?
