Your sword of betrayal
pierced my exposed heart
and left me a bloody mess

Forever shattering
my naive shield of innocence

You left me for dead
but bitterness
brought me back

Round One 
was dominated by you
as I slumped 
dazed and confused
against the blood stained ropes
but I knew
your offensive energy
had all been spent

Pay back time for me
with interest
was about to commence
in Round Two

A word of advice
for my soon to be vanquished
and forgotten foe

Next time you choose
to do a cheap shot
blind side attack
against a defenseless victim
put them completely away
with your first
sucker punch blow
cause as surely
as night turns to day
they will rise up
and pummel back your smug ass
with nothing to lose 
vengeful desperation
