RESURRECTION OF THE DAMNED

RESURRECTION OF THE DAMNED

LOST IN MY MEMORY
FOR YEARS GONE BY
WAS THE WOMAN I LOVED
THE ONE THAT MADE MY HEART CRY

LIKE A TENDER PLANT
I NOURISHED HER HEART
BUILDING HER CONFIDENCE
RIGHT FROM THE START

I LOVED HER
WITH EVERY FIBER OF MY BEING
EVEN THOUGH SHE WAS UNFAITHFUL
I HELD HER IN HIGH ESTEEM,
SHE WAS MY QUEEN

HER HEARTS DESIRE WAS MY COMMAND
SHE HELD MY HEART IN THE PALM OF HER HAND
THEN ONE DAY SHE CRUSHED MY SOUL
WITH A DEADLY THRUST
BUT MY HEART STILL BLEEDS
FOR HER LOVE AND TOUCH.

WILFORD BARKER.

Being Me

Well written, Wilford. True love never, ever dies. Once you have deeply loved it stays with you forever and ever x
