Return to me my Angel, let this all be just a dream;
And when I wake up you’ll still be by me, as tears of joy I stream!
The nightmare will be over, you are laying at my side;
Again I can be happy, no longer need I cry!

We’ll do everything we used to, we’ll play, we’ll hug, we’ll kiss;
I’ll never leave your side again, so me you’ll never miss!
I’ll give you back and belly rubs, the things you love so much;
Just as I do when I give them, for I love your body touch!

At night we’ll sleep together, your little snores I’ll hear;
We’ll dream of days together, and our companionship so dear!
As the darkness turns to sunlight, I’ll watch you as you wake;
My heart and soul will smile, so happy them you make!
Â
We’ll share many more years together, in soulmate’s ecstasy;
Our love will live forever, as it was always meant to be!
So return to me my Angel, let’s start again anew;
And when I wake up in the morning, I’ll be laying next to you!

My Dearest G,
You know that every time I portray my pain in a poem, subconsciously, I know that we both experience it. Â Sometimes, as I ponder on it, it makes me very sad to think that we both share this sad common bond of broken hearts. Â Yet, it always seems like when one of us is really down, the other appears with a life vest. Â As I said before, we oft times shed tears, but then there are the other times that we share laughter.
