For years I had watched you be used and abused by those to claim to love you.
When you cried I could feel the pain coming from your soul.
Wishing that I could take all the pain away. 
Hoping for only better days for you.
Making a promise to myself that I would be the one you could count on.
Not knowing that you had also made your own promise.
That Vengeance would be yours some day.
Didn't care who it was as long as they felt what you felt.
Never thought I would be your victim.
Didn't realize you hurt me until I began to bleed.
So, messed up I had to learn how to love myself again.
