Poem -

Ringleader

Sometimes friends are enemies

Greeting you with smiles,

But paralyzing you with criticism.

Sometimes the loudest laughs yield the deepest wounds

And a kind word is a double-edged sword

To the frenemy, life is a performance

With audiences all around watching, but not saying a word.

Laughing at the misfortunes of others,

Just as bad as the frenemy

The frenemy is the ring-leader in a group circus,

Listening only to spread secrets and lies.

Chaos is her specialty

The ring leader controls the monkeys and clowns,

And they obey her every move.

Sometimes the only to stop the Ringleader

Is to release yourself from the shackles and chains.

Take a bow

And leave the circus

Don't be a slave to a frenemy

She lies to hold you back.
