RIP BOBBY BALL

Part of my youth died with me yesterday
The comedian Bobby Ball sadly passed away
His cheeky smile and funny one line jokes
Was without doubt one of life's funniest blokes

Rock on Tommy was his most famous phrase
Nice to reminisce those happy eighties days
Now this virus has taken another needless life
Left behind grieving friends, family and wife

So it is with sadness this little tribute ends
I hope God and Bobby will be good friends
For certain God will have a smile on his face
As Bobby Ball has now a new resting place

As you rightly say sadly a part of our youth gone. A lovely tribute to a comic who didnt use humour to hurt, be unkind , vicious or vitriolic  but to bring laughter and joy to all who heard it- a lovely piece Kieran
