RIP PELE

To all football fans he had only the one nameĀ
Was the greatest ever to play the beautiful game
Goalkeepers were warned whenever he took aim
The likes of him will never again be the sameĀ

He first played for his country at only seventeenĀ
So much skill shown on the television screen
This man would turn out to be a goal machineĀ
Like a ballet dancer he was graceful and serene

Twice World Cup winner by the age of twenty one
Without doubt he was Brazil's most favourite son
Not only a footballer but a kind gentleman tooĀ
They broke the mould Pele when they made you
