RITZ FOR RATS

Located on New York's forty second street
All the hipsters on Friday night would meet
The cool dudes were there and the cool cats
A place that was called the Ritz for Rats

The bright lights shone in every room
The music played was a constant boom
This was New York City in the year of 74
One weekly visit and you would return for more

Two years later the place no longer there
All the cool cats went for fun elsewhere
Ritz for Rats is such a fantastic name
Nightclubs in NYC will never be the same
