River Lily

River Lily

Splendor bobs gently offshore,
Mournful regrets, dour e’ermore,
Supple petals, indigo blue,
Ego, cruelly plucked askew.

Willows bow to infinitely weep,
Cleave beauty, in fluidic keep.
Immersed in dire heartache,
Sorrow-sodden in rolling wake.

A river rocks to comfort I assume,
Exalt this tender-callow bloom.
Though, tears usher autumn chills,
Seclusion hinders droplet spills.

Alas, yearn balmy embrace,
Solace sun warms, lovely face.
Lees, amongst gilded shine,
I long for Lily, once a heart twas mine
