Poem -

River running wide.

River running wide.

The light kissed the blades of grass, down by the concrete stone,

It was as if I'd felt you last, sanding there alone

Your presence wasn't known to be, as cold as the wind then blown

Though it hadn't touched my face, whilst standing there alone

Flowers grow on grounds nearby, the sky it's cradled breath

No hollow ground could keep thee here, once captured near by death,

Your heart it wasn't absent, I felt the warming tide,

down by the concrete stone And the river running wide.
