Road Assholes
Rolling down the mountain...
A long winding late night trek
on an ancient narrow roadway...
Fellow travelers from the other direction
blind my view with high beams blaring...
Nary a soul bothers to dim their lights...
Why bother extending common courtesy
in this age of selfish "tis all about me" fuckery ??
Zero consideration given for others compromised sight
as we strain to see the perilous future of a blinded humanity...
Such a dim reflection on these cynical times

Just penned something of a similar tone. Soon all I'll be able to do is shake my head in disbelief. Not because I won't have words but because all sense will find itself gagged.
Sad but timely write as the cards topple and the house burns. (Cue cynical chuckle)
As a comforting rationalization I always tell myself that Karma will one day drive those selfish twats into a ditch ;)
Some people are so ignorant, the most we can do is promote road safety and not become one of those people ourselves! Lead by example is what I say. Peace and smiles to you Steve. The Fish of the Sea.
I can abide ignorant people (since there are so many of them) much more than selfish types who know better, but simply don't give a damn how their actions(or inactions) adversely affect others. I place those dangerous morons who don't believe in wearing protective masks or social distancing in this latter category
