Poem -
Romantic Notions...
Romantic notions,
are not of Nature's essence,
but Nature's image,
in a distorted mirror.
It seems humankind,
as T.S. Eliot once
stated, cannot bear
too much of reality.
I'm guilty myself
of glorifying Nature,
because at heart I
am a hopeless Romantic.
