" Rooftop Awareness "

If I consider from this rooftop, the heightened perspective
It may seem a dissimilar understanding of the smallness of men
For, in passing on the street below, men appear great in their arrogance
Mingled with pomp and circumstance, their glorious façade buckles
Beneath the weight of the baggage they carry, from unforgivable crimes
That dance on their future graves, with youthful innocence
For the shadows they see appear grim and blameless when there's always
Another side to all things considered irreparable in the eyes of God
But who says you have to live there, but you DO have to learn to love
For under the auspices of the trinity, you can be anything you wanna be
And I sincerely hope that this clarity, from this rooftop enlightens me
Then encourages my understanding of this heightened perspective
And this abiding rooftop awareness....
