KANGAROOS

The Kangaroos are aflame
As they hop to their death
As they take their last breadth

I sit here sad
It’s too late to get mad
Soon it will be Man’s turn
To feel the burn

Climate change will be the end of us all
Seven Billion Souls will fall
The Earth will be wrapped
In a Carbon Pall

Aussie animals have died
Satan cried
God prove your Love is not a lie

Give us one last chance
To halt the temperature advance

Should we all buy an Electric Car
Or stay home and close the lid on our formaldehyde jar
Life keeps getting more bizarre

Only time will tell
Animal and human corpses swell
Is it too late to Yell!
I pray I don’t hear
Mankind’s Death Knell

So Presidents and Kings
Do the Right Thing
So Man can enjoy
Another Spring
And avoid
Death’s sting
