Rose

Imagine frantic love, such effusion. We perish soft, a lovely
Rose. My dying tear, feel the Ghost, a mystic flame; and
Dare to die, my cultic love. I’m disabused, a pool of pain.
Something rises, euphonic wind; and something burns,
A russet sky. I’m near aflame, a lighter’s life; and whisper
Teal, a desert rose. Afflict the heart, a creek of grass; and
Touch the soul, a drowning sea. My yellow rose, the flames
Of gold; and purple rose, a thunder red. Indeed, a pearl—a
Tear to wilt. Thus, the light, a partial grey; and thus, the love—
A bleeding wine. Remember prose, a stream of blood,
A passion raw, my earthly dove. But love to lock, a mantic
Feat; and treasured smile, a woman’s voice. My burning
Flame, a well of souls; and feeling wealth, a ghostly storm.
Indeed, a pearl—a tear to wilt; and claret rose, an earth to tilt.
