Poem -
Rosemary For Remembrance
Hidden from sight, locked into darkness
the key retainedโฆ but..
for safe keeping sequestered.
Memories stored within my mental ย casket,
denied ย the light of perspicuous ย day.
Like drapes ofย plushest velvet,
each ย memory filled crease
cascading with a forgotten reminiscence
to lie ,now abandoned,
consigned ,to the depth of
forgotten recollectionโฆ..
Gathering dust in the basement of my
dank repository .
Walk away,
No backward glance,
Nothing to stir sleeping thoughts
and forgotten nightmares,
save ย maybe .. for a sprig of rosemary...

Obviously last to the party. All said, wise comments, beautiful observations, and so I stand to say
"I Liked it, it put pictures in my head where there had been none,
I touched the velvet folds, and the smell of Rosemary tickled my nose.
