Roxanne And Joanne.

She a lady of the night.
She stands under a shining street light.
Her face is makeup painted fresh.
Her slim body shows a lot of flesh.
She looks like the Mona Lisa.
And has the temperament of Mother Teresa.
She works in life’s oldest trade.
And knows there’s a lot of dirty money to be made.
Through rain and sun.
For the right amount she’ll sell warmth and fun.
Her working name is Roxanne.
Her homely name is mother Joanne.
Roxanne stands under the red street light.
Roxanne wears her short sparkly dress tonight.
For her it’s just another day.
For her it’s just money for another bill to pay.
At passers by she nods and winks.
And from her gin bottle she secretly drinks.

I like how you humanized her, and the nod that she is not just "Roxanne" thats just a part of her
Great piece
