Royal Crush

Royal Crush

Being a prince
is not all glamour and glitz

All this awful protocol
of arcane traditions
no longer relevant

Oh, and did I mention

the princess is such a bitch

but this side you will never see

behind the fairy tale fantasy

she is the sparkly doll Ā
that every little girl
wants to be

married to a phony
miserable prince like meĀ
who can't walk away
from this crystal prisonĀ

Here in the kingdom of hyprocrisy

Smile and wave for the cameras

Sometimes I miss
my old frog's
life

once upon a kiss

Liked this one Steve and how so true, the scenero you laid out and the "facade" too, may be.( A way of behaving or appearing that gives other people, a false idea of your true feelings or situation) and toĀ be able to fit this persona on, like a glove, has apparently become,(just as it did with the queen), another way of life for them......Splendid in-site into the "non-so royal life," of the royals...Jim

Thanks Jim....No matter how high up you are on the social ladder it sucks having to live a lie

So true in deed my friend, a dose of reality would be like a slap in the face, if al l(supportiveĀ means), was removed from their lives...Take Care.....
