RUG MAN OF BAGHDAD

"Good morning sir. How are you today ?"
" I have a rug for you will you come this way ?"
I was taken in by the rug man of Baghdad 
He was after all the holiday money I had

We bargained and bartered for ten minutes or more
He had all kinds of rugs at the back of his store
I was just about to leave when something caught my eye 
A rug of sheer beauty it was the one I had to buy

I parted with my holiday money right there and then
It was time for the bargaining and bartering to start again
I was pleased with my purchase and hurried to leave
Just in case the rug man of Baghdad had another trick up his sleeve
