Running River

~~Running River

I see a world within my mind
Tis lovely and serene
A wonderful dream
A scene of a stream

There’re waterfalls all over
Greenery in a lovely scenery
Rivers high and low
A beautiful flow

One river however
In particular
Caught my attention
And so I mention

Never seen it before
And I’m wanting more
It’s as if it’s speaking
I hear, draw near

Captivated
Motivated
Mesmerized
Within my eyes

It’s beautiful here
I shed a tear
No burden to bear
Or even fear

I wonder
Where has it been
I wonder
Where do I begin

It flows like no other
Cant help but wonder
What I’m feeling
Is healing

My heart
Was a start
My mind
It is kind

My spirit
A poet
Manifestation
No frustration

The sparkling light
In the darkest night
Tis serene indeed
What I read

This running river
In particular
Is a river
Of gold and silver
