Rapunzel
I have locked myself in
There is no one to blame
I have made love to night and so
birthed myself pain
Were I Rapunzell,
I would let down my hair
In the hope that some god might
climb in
But the dark is a blind thing not
given to sight
And no god could survive
In such absence of light
