S is for Stella

Gray....
Black...
Where's White?

Emerging as the mix.
More dark than light.
Yet still I sit.
Still seeking sight...

Symbolism so staggering: showing suicide.
Shadows suppress sire? .... Surmise,
Sustaining scars sadly suffering such strife...

Sshhhhh- Silence.

Say's Symphony. Stringing so softly,
Stella's solemn song:
Sincere sympathy, she sings sorrows.
Signaling severe suffering
Showing somber solitude

. Stranded .

_________________________________________________________

Shielded-stealth of shadows,
Staying separate of sight.
Submissive soul stalking
Sadistic slaughter skulking.
So sick. So Satan.
Serpent slithering-
Spine splintering…
Spontaneous slaying of sin.

So similar. So sacred
Such Socratic salvation
Seduced self-substance.

Sitting strained, somewhat spiteful
Shuffling solutions. Someway to stifle.

Scanning spacious skies
Shiniest shimmer searching
Serenity she seeks
Supplant so. So still she sleeps
Such a state sustained

For she’s found white

Explanation:

  • The use of gray, black, and white in the begging is to represent seeing the darker of things but not finding white. (Light/sight)
  • Shhhh. Silence represents the death of her, mourning, and to introduce the symphony, like the beginning of a concert
  • The stanza after the line break is referring to death and how it creeps around in the dark and also I try to correlate it with Satan and a serpent
  • The second stanza after the line break is to make a connection between her death and Socrates death since they both had essentially a type of poisons’ substance that killed them.
  • The following stanza represents me wishing their was something I can do
  • The last two line “satisfied” and “for she’s found white” – represents being satisfied in a better place, in heaven or among the stars. And “for she’s found white” ties in the beginning of the poem. White being used as a heavenly, angel, star, “goodness in life”.
