SACRED FRIENDS

 Awww..today my heart was warmed by the kindness of one angel...this only reminds me..even in our darkness of our writing....our day, or thought...there is someone always out there reminding us we are not alone in our struggles.....nor will we be forgotten...  A smile of great thanks for the feeling it put in my heart today.....and my mind.... 

Then I found this poem from long ago....a reminder that someone welcomes us and asks us to stay....they are called...

SACRED FRIEND

Life passes us by in a heartbeat

And so, does it seem, many friends

Then unsure footing touches unsafe ground

Which starts a vicious cycle that never ends

Many plans will get built in a memory

But, to only to elude once again

Getting washed up in a tide we all call life

Along with it are the precious memories built with a friend

We're expected to go marching onward

Because this one journey in life is all that we know

And friends who have come, those who have gone

We'll recall that sacred friend, and they will help us to move along…

Angels, we will have many friends come and go in our lifetime…..see this not as a loss, but knowing you had a connection and you shared and learned many things from each other…

However, in our lifetime, we will have many friends that stand by us…giving us a place to call home, place to belong….telling us it's safe to be….. 

Sometimes it's something we've never known.. they help change our lives with their kindness… teaching us how to love and trust again....helping us to believe there is more than darkness….and there is…. protect and nurture…love and grow :)

Let those in your life know everyday they are special and you love them…because you can….

We may have sat at the table with the devil….but all that changes when the tables turn to show us the face of an angel….who we call A SACRED FRIEND….
