Sacred Sunday Mornings-Saddest Sunday Mournings

I look back to those sacred Sundays, the first in May, 2003;
The one we found our baby Cody, and our family came to be!
Nico then had a little brother, and βweβ had two precious boys;
Who made our lives so wonderful, who brought us untold joys!
.
Sunday mornings were always special, we would pile into the van;
And visit shopping venues, where doggies were not banned!
At Home Depot, we would wheel you, in a spacious shopping cart;
Then weβd drive to your most favorite place, so aptly called, PetSmart!
.
In Home Depot, people would pet you, and feel your fleecy fur;
You would kiss their outstretched fingers, and let out gentle purrs!
In PetSmart, youβd play with other doggies, your tails both awag;
Weβd buy you toys and yummy puppy treats, youβd sniff the shopping bag!
.
Weβd come home, and youβd be tired, from our lovely family day;
Weβd give you each a Greenie, and then youβd hit the hay!
Oh, to have them back again, those sacred Sundays of morningβs bliss;
But theyβve become the saddest mournings, our babies so dearly missed!

Great tribute write to your late family members Larry.
Wishing you the best - Syd xxxΒ
My Dear Friend Syd,
"Family" they were, dear friend!Β They were our little boys, who brought us the greatest happiness we have ever known.Β So sadly, we both feel that it is too late in our lives to have another family again.
Thank you for your lovely words.
Love,

My Dear Lisa,
