Sad birthday :(

Ooh how exciting I really cannot wait
It’s my birthday tomorrow tho I can’t go out my gate
Well I can go for a little walk so technically that’s not true but what I meant apart from abit of exercise there is nothing else that I can do
I can’t go to the cinema tho I wish I could coz that would be a treat infact this could be good
No I am stuck inside my own four walls listening to Coronavirus with it’s rises and falls

So this will be a sad birthday I really have to say
Well let’s hope the skies are blue and not a cloudy grey
Last year I was sixty and that was loads of celebrations
My spouse and I went on holidays my birthday was full of jubilations
We spent a week on a barge and some more on a cruise and I reminisce about it all trying to rid these blues

Nevermind it is April and I adore the Spring as my cherry blossom blooms with the Swallows on the wing
It’s such a sensational time of year
there is new life everywhere tho this dam pandemic is causing mayhem and despair
Rollon when we are all Corvid-19 free coz this will be better than my birthdays and any Christmas’s for me
