Sad Eyes

When she sat next to me with those sad eyes
I knew from the start my heart braced trouble
Her scented hair, as it blew in the breeze
Shattered every hold on my two knees
Calm and simple, brave and pure as lovely
Before long she was gone, so too my mind

Where she sat next to me with those sad eyes
I could feel the end of her braced trouble
Her cented hair a blair, empty the breeze
Now shattered any joy between the knees
Calm and simple, brave and pure as lovely
Before long I'll wake up, and save my mind
