Sadness

I don't write to try to become famous

I'm simply writing down emotions

Because my thoughts are very heinous

If fame becomes an option

Well then I won't object

But thats not my goal in doing this

I just want to have no regrets 

So one by one I write my thoughts

And memories to not forget

The things that I've gone through

And the evil thats in my head

The people that I have loved 

And the ones that made a mark

The ones that I have lost

And the ones that left scars

Some wounds are still open

Taking longer to heal

I don't know how to express them

So I write down how i feel

It's the best way 

For me to get them out

Cuz i hate being judged

For the things I talk about

So please read these 

As if you know the truth

Think of you as me

Put yourself in my shoes

Think of it as role reversal 

I am you and you are me

What would you have done

If someone cut you to watch you bleed

That was their only reason

No other possible motive

It was simply just to hurt you

And simply be corrosive

To watch you fall apart

Because it's not what you expected

And you never saw it coming

Because you thought you were protected

But that's just the bad things 

I'd skip them if I could

But if not for the bad

You wouldn't appreciate the good

There is always a silver lining 

In every obstacle of life

Its all in how you look at it

And on your concept of time 

See the good takes longer 

Because you have to want it more

It won't just be handed to you 

You have to endure what's in store

If you can make it there

The good is always worth it

And you will never have to question

If your faith is really working

Everything in life 

Is on the other side fear

All you have to do is jump

And you can make it over here

The fear that you live with

Is pointless to say the least

Cuz when you face the fear head on

The sadness will decrease
