SAHARA SANDS

SAHARA SANDS

A verse inspired by a song " Waterloo sunset "

A muddy old river
To Westbrook bay in wintertime
Ships are hiding the storms
Where dreams were battered
And torn apart

Terry and Julie died
But they had a loving life
And the people march like ants
Around Waterloo underground
But they are tanned and work part-time

I am still lazy
Everyday I look out my new window
Waiting for summer to start
To dance and feel warm and alive
With hot sandy feet
And my hot tickled toes
To walk the sands again

Now as I look at the skies
J.M.W Turner through my own eyes
The waves crashing down throughout
These cold stormy times
Am I now
In

Paradise…
