SAHARA SANDS

SAHARA SANDS

A verse inspired by a song " Waterloo sunset "

A muddy old river
To Westbrook bay in wintertimeĀ
Ships are hiding the stormsĀ
Where dreams were batteredĀ
And torn apartĀ

Terry and Julie diedĀ
But they had a loving life
And the people march like ants
Around Waterloo undergroundĀ
But they are tanned and work part-time

I am still lazyĀ
Everyday I look out my new window
Waiting for summer to startĀ
To dance and feel warm and aliveĀ
With hot sandy feet
And my hot tickled toes
To walk the sands againĀ

Now as I look at the skies
J.M.W Turner through my own eyes
The waves crashing down throughoutĀ
These cold stormy times
Am I now
In

Paradiseā€¦
Ā
