Sam and Janet Evening

Sam and Janet Evening

Some enchanted evening across a crowded room,
you may see a stranger in the evening gloom;
reclining on a bar in the south pacific with banter,
jokes floating around, easy conversation at a canter.

My good friend says that he would never live in UK,
what a dreadful place with horrible weather so they say;
everything up and down, always moaning whatever you do,
they said: 'Fluctuations,' yeah, f - - -  you europeans too.

We saw the stranger, you may end up with them forever,
it might depend on just how bad was that awful weather;
went thro' storms, leaden skies, could be a sudden tempest,
whatever you endured, it should turn out for the best.

It was time to leave, Sam and Janet left arm in arm,
another destiny, lured, by someone's inevitable charm.
