Sapid
Cherry lips sapid wine
Rapt, prest βneath mine
Partake sangria blush
Purest taste eβer lush
Passions fertile inspire
Tongues swirling afire
Concord doth compose
Tuscan gardens arose
Tip thou vinery chalice
Thwart fiendish malice
Drink to loves design
Moonshine so divine
Entwine hearts campaign
Stealthy fruits engrain
Encased for all time
Aged burgundy sublime

I do know that the taste of wine and the euphoria that comes with a glass is very similar to love. I was trying to intertwine the two lol...maybe not too successfully? thank you for stopping by Cherie

Thanks a lot, now I want to drink for the day! You've taken inspiration to a whole new level! But seriously I don't know how you do it time and time again!
Thank you kindly Ian. Honestly sometimes I have no clue what kicks inspiration in gear. Iβve always saw the correlation between that first glass of wine and the feeling of love
So very good it's almost like mouth watering when you read, although that makes me sound like a have a problem ? lol.Β Lisa, apparently I have reached my sending limit for today! Are you ok with me posting our poem now? Or maybe another verse?
You can post it. Itβs excellent!
My Dear Lisa,
As usual, your poetry is intoxicating.
I too am an oenophile.Β In fact, I am sipping on a fine Chardonnay as I do these comments.Β Many years ago, I had a dear friend from Puerto Rico, who taught me how to make the ultimate sangria.Β It is white, instead of red.Β If you are interested, I would be happy to share the recipe with you.
All my love,
Larry xxx
Sounds very inviting thank you kindly Larry
My Dear Lisa,
The recipe is very simple.Β Instead of red wine for your base, use any white wine.Β Then with whatever amount, enhance it with 1/4 apricot brandy.Β Then a little bit of white soda, such as seven-up.Β Finish it off, with some fresh peaches on the top.Β Allow it to all soak in for an hour, and I guarantee, that you will never drink red sangria again.
Bottoms up, baby!
All my love,
Larry xxxΒ Β
Sounds heavenly ? thank youΒ
