Saturday At The Park

It was “Saturday At The Park” yesterday, but it was not the 4th of July;
It was the Annual Hispanic Festival, at which we decided to stop by!
We got there when it opened, just after eleven o’clock;
We wanted to beat the large crowds, ten thousand there to flock!
.
It was right along the riverside, and a perfect sunlit day;
There were vendors and lots of food booths, all along the way!
We ate at three different venues, Latino delicacies at their best;
Two chicken dishes, and two Arepas, scored high upon our test!
.
Then we went into a large tent, where they had erected a giant stage;
We watched dancers from many countries, brilliant costumes all the rage!
After that, a little before we were leaving, multi masses had come in;
Thousands in the midway, long lines your food to win!
.
We got a frozen custard, and people watched a bit;
All types, all ages, all races, this event a monstrous hit!
It was such a pure felt pleasure, to see people having fun;
We basked in our perfect passion, under the blue skies and the sun!
.
.
The day was perfect
Hot sun, hot food, hot Soulmates
Sharing perfection
