Saturn's Return

Saturn's Return

They say I should have a plan by now . . .
Some job to settle for
A child with someone to show the world
Who am I becoming
Scares the sh** out of me
Saturn's waning
And I'm wanting to many things
Everything I've ever trusted
Is haunting me
Street lights are taunting me
But every time the music plays
It sets all these demons free
To every poor child that wonders like I do
Wonders who they have to be
Because they were never taught
How to be themselves
Saturn's waning
And I'm wondering
Everything

Hi Deke,

What a beautiful poetic journey through your life.  I think Saturn will wait a while longer for you.  I think a co-pilot is immanent.  Very nice write, Deke.

Peace and Love,
