Save Me

You've shown me how to love and how to lose, how to feel and the way I bruise.
You've taught me strength in our hard times and you've made me fall while sky high.

You've watched me soar and shot me down.  
You always knew how to persuade me.  Guide me.  Fade me to a lesser me.

Save me.

Only I have that power, now I realize. 
You can no longer influence my naive mind, body and soul.

I am out of your reach now and forever within mine.
