Poem -

SAVE OUR WORLD

God can!

Have you seen the plight we're in
Do you hear our voices crying
We are falling like dry leaves to the ground
Dead on arrival, without a sound

From you we came
To this place called earth
Born of your spirit, and fashioned by dirt

All you have given us, we've corrupted
Now reaping what we've sown
To the distraction of our homes and planet

The dignitaries and leaders are besieged
By the lust for power and greed
They are blinded by their evil thoughts
Because they have put you to naught

Who can the innocent look to
Who can they call
Must the righteous die with the wicked
Can the weak pull himself out of his pitfalls

Hear this sinners cry i plea
Make haste from your abode
Dispatch your angles, and set us free

Remove the plages
That has taken so many lives
Comfort the broken-hearted
And save our world from spiritual suicide.
