Savior of Mine
 
I can see paradise within my savior’s eyes
On the horizon nothing but blue skies
 
Your eyes have seen the glory and the fall
And it is to my lonely heart that you call
 
Can you tell me sweet savior of mine
Why can the world seem so damn unkind?
 
With the ever growing fury of the ocean tide
I am so grateful to have you here by my side
 
You are all of my dreams come true
For I am free of chains because of you
 
It is the truth that Jesus saves
You saved me from an early grave
 
How many tears your eyes must have cried
When it seemed that all hope simply died
 
You are my savior of heart and of soul
I will be with you till the end of the road
 
You would never leave me standing in the rain
Like a river you wash away all my tears of shame
 
You are in my thoughts from sunset to sunrise
I can now see forever in your majestic blue eyes
 
I will imagine all my streets are paved in gold
 And I will walk with you till I grow too old
 
You are the blood in my veins my breath
I am forever forsaking all of the rest
 
Your love is within me both day and night
You are forever my one guiding starlight
