Poem -

Say No

All A's,

school plays,

basketball star,

proud parents,

tons of awards,

graduation got a car.

World at your feet,

everything to lose,

made a wrong choice,

chose the wrong crowd,

now your life all confused.

Got curious,

tried drugs,

now your parents furious.

You strung out,

lost everything,

terrible mistake no doubt.

Instead of college,

a waist of knowledge,

life you need to salvage.

You could been driving to your own pad,

but you back home,

in a cab riding to rehab.

Room full of people,

sharing stories, tears and hugs,

should have said hell no to drugs!
