School days ...

Were they really the best 
Better than all the rest .
Those day's now long past
When you sat in a class ,
Messing about , 
Or looking out of the window ...

Do you look back with rose tinted specs
Or were they , Days you don't want to recollect ..
Were friendships made , were you good at games 
- or the victim of school bullies.

Not my favorite years
Left with no tears .
Too much was disliked
to be the halcyon time of my life
- And to this day 
I've never used Algebra.
