School Nurse Bathroom Mirror

School Nurse Bathroom Mirror

There are two bathrooms
in the nurse’s office in the
local high school.
In one bathroom,
there is a mirror,
in the other bathroom
there is no mirror – by
the request of some students.

Imagine teenagers so hating
the way the look,  so
hating themselves,  they
they cannot stand to look at
themselves in a mirror?

In the mirror in the second bathroom
is a sticker on the lower left-hand corner
that says, “You are  beautiful.
Thanks for existing,”
Love, The Universe.

In both bathrooms are signs that
say,  “Please wash your hands.”
Both bathrooms also have a signs
that say, “Please put down
the toilet seat when
you are finished.”

Here is not looking at you kid.
